Jalapeño Shatta

Shatta is a traditional Levantine condiment made from chilli peppers and olive oil.

This shatta is made in the UK by three Palestinian-British blokes: two brothers (Layth and Zee) and their childhood friend (Karim), inspired by their Tetas’ (that’s their grandmothers’) recipes.

But this is shatta with a twist, made with jalapeños which gives it a refreshing, earthy flavour, with just a little bit of heat. Delicious with burritos, grilled food and fry-ups.
