Established in 1914 in Tokyo’s Asakusa district, Kanaya Brush has built a reputation as an expert in the field of brush making. Applying traditional techniques, skilled artisans cut each strand of natural hair to craft perfectly contoured brush tips.

For their shoe brushes, Kanaya’s craftsmen carefully pick and blend horse hair to create a medium firmness. With a beech wood handle, these brushes are as equally suited to dry brushing to remove dirt as to polishing with shoe polish.
