Kyoto Ukiyo-e Incense Sticks: Cherry Blossom

This incense is imbued with the fragrance of Kinmokusei, or ‘Osmanthus’, a highly fragrant, autumn-blooming shrub known for its vibrant orange flowers and sweet fruity scent, often likened to apricot or peach. You’ll find Kinmokusei in streets and gardens across Japan.

These incense sticks come wrapped in decorative paper featuring a ukiyo-e painting from the Edo period, when the art of burning incense became popular across Japan.
